Chair Yoga is an adapted style of yoga designed to prevent, and also relieve, the physical ailments associated with sitting at a desk for long periods of time. The postures can be practiced at any time of the day, to encourage blood flow and stretch out the muscles. The benefits of these postures are an increase in energy, focus and body awareness as well as a decrease in back pain, trapped nerves and stress.
