Imagine an 8 week program that can help you overcome depression, anxiety and stress – by simply learning new ways to respond to your own thoughts and feelings. That program is Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and it has been tested and proven effective in clinical trials throughout the world.
The MBCT program is a popular and widely acclaimed form of Mindfulness training that integrates the principles and practices of modern, secular Mindfulness with some of the key aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
The course consists of 8, weekly 2 hour meetings for a group of up to 12 people to come together and work alongside each other – with guidance and support – to build a deep personal familiarity with the meditation practices, build awareness and explore their thought process. In addition, participants meet for a full day of Mindfulness practice during the period of the course.
